Roee Rosen is an Israeli-American artist, filmmaker and writer. Through video, painting, and narrative, he explores identity and notions of evil, specifically addressing the Jewish people's collective memory and the power of creativity in extreme situations of life and death. Rosen is a professor at Ha'Midrasha Art College, and at the Bezalel Art Academy in Israel. His latest film, The Dust Channel, was coproduced by documenta 14.
