Juliane Jaschnow studied Fine Arts at the HGB Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, where she specialized in the fields of photography and cinematography. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Sciences from Leipzig University. She studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University – under a DAAD scholarship – as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Moreover, she has attended a professional Media Master Class and PMMC Lab at Werkleitz Society. Jaschnow is a member of the Cinematic Initiative Leipzig (FILZ).
