Stefanie Schroeder studied Art Education, Art History, and Communication Science at the University of Greifswald.
There, she also co-organized WBS70 , an independent culture centre. She was guest student in Media Art at HFG Karlsruhe and took part in an exchange at Villa Arson, Nice. Her studies in photography include a class with Joachim Brohm at the Academy of Visual Arts, HGB Leipzig. Moreover, she has taken part in a professional Media Master Class at Werkleitz Gesellschaft in Halle/Saale. Schroeder is a member of the Cinematic Initiative Leipzig (FILZ).
