Future Creatures is a series of experimental animations, which explores the complexity of cryptic images from the world of dreams and the subconscious. The main aspect of the project is to produce visionary narratives inspired by the illusion of fragmented realities, and compile them into a usable pictorial catalogue. The resulting project will be a kaleidoscopic moving “puzzle” or “thought picture” that derives its own symbolism. A variety of characters that root in dreams and subconscious imagery are the main elements of the animations. The unreal transformations and interactions of each character mainly lead the narratives of the animation. The narrative of the animation is meant to be enjoyed like rhythmic structure of music rather than as a readable story.
