In his ten-minute video NIGHT SWEAT, Siegfried A. Fruhauf questions our visual perceptions through images of forests, the sky and the bright, mottled moon. Fruhauf consciously uses the traditional visual language of horror films like strobing lights, grainy images and distorted sound effects to present a set of seemingly familiar documentary images which are later revealed to be a presentation of the night, but modified through media technologies.
